Note submitted by patricia watson coplan fry Feb 2, 2003 concerning the cemetery: "the entire center area of the cemetery is completely full of graves, almost all of which are now unmarked. in the 1960's, most still had rotted wooden crosses and/or a wooden stake that had at one time been a cross, but at least between the small dirt hump and the stake in the ground, everyone knew there was one grave after another in this area. the graves were all, at least it seemed to me as a child, to be closer together than the more current graves and a great number of them were covered by cement structures - i suppose the term above-ground vault would be the best way to describe it. additionally: we made the trail that is currently the "road through the cemetery" in 1991. there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the road is over many unmarked graves."
