BOND FOR MARRIAGE LICENSE

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, J. C. White as principal and F. A. Newsom as security, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Arkansas, for the use and benefit of the common school fund of Union County, in the penal sum of one hundred dollars, for the payment of which well and truly will be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, and administrators, firmly by these presents.
Signed this 17 day of Feby 1891
THE CONDITION of the above obligation is such that, whereas, the above boundon J. C. White has this day applied to the Clerk of the County Court of Union County, for a license authorizing the solemnization of the rite of matrimony between the said J. C. White and R. M. Taylor.
Now, If the said parties applying for said license have a lawful right to the same, and if they shall faithfully carry into effect and comply with the provisions thereof, and shall, within sixty days from the date hereof, return said license to the office of the Clerk of the County Court of said county, duly executed and officially signed by some one authorized by law to solemnize the rite of matrimony, then this obligation shall be void, but otherwise remain in full force and virtue.

AFFIDAVIT

STATE OF ARKANSAS, County of Union:
IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE COUNTY COURT OF SAID COUNTY:
J. C. White, of the County of Union and State of Arkansas being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is the identical person who has this day applied to me for license of marriage, and that he has arrived at the age of 50 years, and that M R. M. Taylor has arrived at the age of 25 years; that the parties for whom said application is made, are now single and unmarried, and may lawfully contract and be joined in marriage.

TO ANY PERSON AUTHORIZED BY LAW TO SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGE—GREETING:
     You are hereby commanded to solemnize the rite and publish the bans of matrimony between Mr J. C. White of Concord, in the County of Union, and State of Ark, aged 50 years, and Miss R. M. Taylor of Concord in the County of Union, and State of Arkansas, aged 25 years, according to law, and do you officially sign and return this license to the parties herein named.

I, C. W. HEARIN, Clerk of the County Court of said county, certify that the above license for and certificate of the marriage of J. C. White and R. M. Taylor were, on the 25 day of Feby 1891, filed in my office, and the same are now duly recorded on page 145 of book "I" of Marriage Records.
