  HAZEL RAY EVANS MILES PARKS, 93, one of South Arkansas' sweetest, dearest, oldest citizens, quietly passed through heaven's doors on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003.
  She will be remembered by many as on of the triplets born to William F. (Doc) Evans & Mary Etta Holt Evans in Nevada County on May 30, 1910. The triplets,Hazel Ray,Edrie Fay and Rubye May, were this area's sensation during their early years and were sought after for advertising endorsements and autographs. After settling in Union County, the triplets married and dissolved into community life, raising families of their own.
  Hazel had one child, a son, William L. Miles. Edrie died at the early age of 47, She had twin daughters, Marilyn Moore Tarver & Carolyn Moore Honeycutt. Rubye, the surviving triplet, is in reasonably good health and is regularly seen at senior dances.
  She has two daughters, Ann Dearth Harris & Cynthia Dearth Posey. Hazel & Rubye have been inseparable & along with Hazel's husband, Joe H. Parks, have lived together in recent years at 2803 Parnell Road.
  Parks was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Marvin, Boyd and Otis Evans; her sister and two nephews, Kenneth and Agee Evans.
  Survivors include her husband, Joe H. Parks of El Dorado; a son, William L. Miles of Tucson, Ariz; her sister Rubye Evans Welch of El Dorado; a granddaughter, Karen A. Miles; two grandsons, Richard G. Miles and William L. Miles, Jr.; a great grandson, Grady M. Miles; a great-granddaughter, Valerie J. Miles & loving nieces, Ann C. Harris, Cynthia J. Posey, Carolyn Honeycutt, Marilyn Tarver, Marvene Solberg and Clarice Allen.
  Funeral at 1 p.m. today, Dec 12, in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Murphy officiating.
  Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
