Mrs. Estelle Clayton

Mrs. Estelle Clayton, aged 43, died at her home near Bee Branch Friday morning, January 24th, following an illness of several months duration. Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church at Bee Branch by Rev. T. W. Hayes Saturday morning and burial was in the Bee Branch cemetery under the direction of Pence and Son Conway. Mrs. Clayton was born and reared in the Bee Branch community where the greater part of her life was spent. She was a good Christian lady and will be sadly missed by her relatives and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Louise and Anita Clayton, her mother, Mrs. Lou Johnson, six sisters; Mrs. Eva Daves and Mrs. Emma Woodward of Quail, Texas, Mrs. Jane Joyner, Mrs. Maggie Joyner, Mrs. Doll Bain(?) and Mrs. Bill Evans of Bee Branch, and two brothers, Harry and Andrew Johnson.
