Adam R. Bradley

Bradley, the eldest son of Capt. John Bradley, was born at Clinton in 1863, and received his education at Clinton College. At the age of seventeen he engaged in the profession of teaching, which he followed for about five years, during which time he was one of Van Buren County's foremost educators. In 1883 he served as County School Examiner of that county. He then studied medicine with Dr. Adam Guthrie, Sr., at Clinton, and during the sessions of 1885 and 1886 attended the Little Rock Medical College, and at once began the practice of his well-chosen profession at Plummerville. In 1888 he formed a partnership with Dr S. E. Allgood, a native of Blount County, Alabama, and a graduate of the Memphis Hospital Medical College, and now one of the leading physicians of Conway County. Dr. Bradley graduated from the above-named medical college at Memphis in 1889, and the firm of Allgood & Bradley, physicians and surgeons, at Plummerville, has a bright and promising future. Dr. Bradley is a prominent member of Hermion Lodge, K. of P., No. 28, at Morrilton.
