Members of Short family Held Enjoyable Reunion
A most enjoyable day was spent Sunday at the pretty new home of Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Patton here in Clinton when members of the family of the late Edward and Frances Short met for a family reunion. The usual custom of a bounteous feast was no exception at this time, twenty-five person being present to partake of the delicious meal.
Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Patton and three sons, Maurice, Roy and Gilbert; C. A. Short, Mrs. Nellie Kruger and daughters, Elsie and Nellie Elizabeth, all of Clinton; Mrs. Mary Matthews and son, Frank, and grandson, Harvey Tom of Alpine, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Sanders of Conway; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jones of Little Rock; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Short and children of Damascus, and Mr. and Mrs. Ant Rogers of Bee Branch.
