  Mildred Coffman, 83, of Fayetteville, died Thursday at Fayetteville.
She was born June 5, 1898 at Red Star.

  She had lived in Fullerton, Calif., and returned to this area in 1962.
She was a member of the Christian Church.

  She is survived by a son, N, A, Centers of Belen, N. M.; two daughters,
Connie Monahan of West Fork and Helen Weyher of Fallon, Nev.; three
brothers, Esaw and Jessie Field, both of Westville, Okla., and Green Fields
of Lamont, Calif.; four sisters, Jane Hall of Westville, Okla., Maggie Farmer of
Lincoln, Taliatha Smith of Durango, Colo.; and Ethyl Bolton of Lamont, Calif.;
six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

   Graveside services were 2 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, Fayetteville,
with the Tev. James D. Johnson officiating, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
