LINCOLN---- Lester C. Farmer, 77, of Lincoln died June 26, 2005, at
Lincoln.  He was born Nov. 25, 1927, in Naples, Texas, to Solomom E. and
Maggie Fields Farmer.  He attended Freewill Baptist Church and was a member
of the VFW. He was an Amy veteran of World War II and the Vietnam War.

    Survivors include his wife, Mildred "Millie" Farmer of the home;
one daughter, Margaret Wiggins of Chino, Calif; one stepson, Preston
Jones of Florida; one stepdaughter, Gwyn Cook of California; two
brothers, Earl Farmer of Hemet, Calif., and Leonard L. Farmer of Cincinnati;
one sister, Oleta Austin of Gravette; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie
Grove with David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Beaty Cemetery at Lincoln.

   Pallbearers will be Levi Farmer, J. D. Farmer, Sam King, Darrell Farmer, Eddie
Dorman, Johnny Gilford, Eduardo Valdez, Richard Mayberry, Lyndell Johnson,
Mack Miller, and Shawn Johnson.
