DUTCH MILLS---Walter Terry Scott Farmer, 80, of Salem Springs
community died March 25, 2005, at his home. He was born April 11, 1924,
in Texas to Solomon E. and Maggie Fields Farmer. He moved to
Arkansas from California and has been a resident of Washington County for
48 years. He worked as a truck driver for Willis Shaw Trucking and as a
poultry grower for Tyson Foods before retiring. He was preceded in death
by his wife, Jessie Faye Farmer in 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Farmer of Auburn, Wash., Bob Farmer
of Mount Carmel, Tenn.; two daughters, Joan Phillips of Evansvillle;
Linda Jackson of Lincoln; three brothers, Earl Farmer of Hemmet, Calif.,
Lester Farmer of Lincoln, Leonard Farmer of Cincinnati; one sister,
Oleta Austin of Gravette; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove
with Jack Austin officiating.

Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery near Dutch Mills.

Pallbearers will be Russell McGaughy, Darrell Farmer, Clifford Farmer,
Leonard Farmer Jr., Walt Reed, Johnny Owens;
Johnny Holcomb and Gary Morris.
