Notes:  We do not know who Henry's parents were, but he had 2 brothers:  Dawson B. Holleman and Albert Holleman.   Elizabeth Cotton is descended from the Cotton, Avent and Massie families of North Carolina and Virginia.  Henry and Elizabeth sold their belongings on September 29, 1858, in North Carolina, leaving there and settling in White County near Rose Bud.  The original property is still owned by the Holleman family and the Holleman Cemetery is on the property.  Henry was a blacksmith.
