NOTES: George Washington Dallas "Dal" STONE was a farmer in Jefferson Township (about 3 miles from Bristol), White County, AR. Additionally he served as a justice of the peace for 25 years. It would seem that he was located in the same place when each of the children were born; therefore, each was probably born near Bristol, Jefferson Township, White County, AR. The marriage license of the father and mother was issued in Conway County and listed Lou Candy as Lunanny STRICKLIN. Mary Ann (STONE) NELSON and her daughter Elda Lee NELSON were living with Dal and Lou for the 1910 Census. This census also showed that the family consisted of 10 children, 8 of whom were still living; therefore, a tenth child is unaccounted for.
