Attorneys, Historians Come Together for a Special Heritage Month Program at Harding Place May 24, 2004
Professor
Lynn Foster of the UALR Bowen School of Law presented a program on early
territorial judicial decisions Monday, May 24, 2004, at Harding Place.
This was a joint meeting of the White County Historical Society and White
County Bar Association, and a highlight of Heritage Month. The
unique dual meeting and speaker were arranged by attorney Kevin
Keech, a member of the WCHS board.
Professor Foster emphasized areas touching and concerning White County.
The first Arkansas territorial court convened at Arkansas Post on December
