Caney Creek Bluegrass Band Performs November 22, 2004

The spotlight turned to bluegrass music for the White County Historical Society's final regular monthly meeting of 2004.  A special performance by Caney Creek Bluegrass Band drew a large and appreciative audience Monday, November 22, 2004, at Harding Place in Searcy.  Music has played an important role in White County history - a diversion from hard times, a reward for hard work, a source of great satisfaction for our pioneer ancestors.  So, for the yearend windup the Caney Creek Bluegrass Band played immediately following the Society's annual election of officers and directors.   Most of the musicians were from Wynne.
