This is the story of a 1924 motorcycle. It was ridden hard, sold for $12, wrecked, stored in a barn and forgotten for years. And now retired riverboat captain Buddy Muirhead of Searcy has it. A fully restored, very rare 1924 Neracar motorcycle with a truly unique history. "Captain Buddy" has not only given new life to the old cycle, he has given it a home in a hand-painted trailer that is a work of art in itself. To top it off, his wife Alice stitched together fashionable knickers that make him and his cycle the talk of every motorcycle show they've attended in the past year. Come see the "Easy Rider of 1924" and hear Captain Buddy's entertaining story. It's the featured program for the March 27 meeting at Harding Place. Bring a friend and be with us. DON'T MISS THIS UNIQUE PROGRAM –MONDAY, MARCH 27, AT 7 P.M. |
