As a prelude to Heritage Month in May, Harding University art
professor Paul Pitt will present a program on handmade flutes to the White
County Historical Society April 24 at Harding Place in Searcy. He makes
the instruments under the name Coyote Clay, featured on his Web site at
www.coyoteclay.com
His art has won numerous awards, and flute-making has been his main focus
since 1995. His flute-making studio is located underground. He and his wife
live in the woods in a cavehouse, make an organic garden and "experience
directly the Creator's gentle touch." Don't miss this unique presentation.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m
