Booth Family Cemetery

Searcy, Arkansas

This cemetery is located in southeast Searcy, just off East Lincoln Avenue. All persons buried here are related by birth or by marriage. Originally listed August 18, 1964, by Mrs. Lloyd Henry of the White County Historical Society, it was Revised-by the Society after a representative visited the "peaceful little cemetery" in March, 1999. When Historical Society member Leroy Blair visited the cemetery December 5, 2000, he added eight names and other information to the list. He found one grave marked with a rock and two depressions that appeared to be unmarked graves. He was unable to find the grave of John V. Owen, which is on the original list. Blair reported the cemetery "is very clean and well cared for and fenced in with a rock wall with iron gates."
