This cemetery was listed in 1975 by Cloie Presley of the White County Historical Society, updated in 1994 by her husband Leister E. Presley, prepared for the Internet in 1999 by Richard White of Greensboro, NC, then updated in April 2000 by Historical Society volunteer Gerald Torrence and again November 1, 2000, and late 2002 by Historical Society members Leroy Blair and Zelda Dawson. "When Cloie listed this cemetery," Leister recorded, "there was a count of 129." Rosemary Vaughn, secretary of the Foster’s Chapel Cemetery Association, assisted in the 2000 and 2002 updates by proofing and confirming the listing.
Blair added eight names and several notations to the list in 2002. When he
returned to the cemetery on February 14, 2005, he added five names to the
following list.
