Hello,
I just ran across a family photo
from the 1940s that has a Hot Springs label. My relatives
were probably visiting there and I believe, great Uncle Ed
Winters (the man on the left smoking a pipe) is walking with
an unnamed friend in the 300 block of Central Ave......the
Hwy 70 & Ark Hwy 7 signs, Arkansas National Bank & Lauray
Jeweler's are visible in the background.
I restore old photos as a hobby
and try to send digital copies to any local historical
societies of the locations I find in my photos. I'm
attaching this one.
