Caldwell, Rev. James

Rev. James E Caldwell

Caldwell Chapel Church was named for Rev. James E. Caldwell, who organized the congregation when he was pastor at Tulip Methodist Church. The church was destroyed some time in the early 1900s. All that remains today, is the small Cemetery. It was located three miles southwest of Round Hill Church & Cemetery on Chapel Road, going towards Arkadelphia. The land for a church and cemetery was given by Mrs. Mary (Horton) Parker, widow of Wiley Alec Parker.
