John Wallace Carlton, 103, of Friendship died July 2, 1996, at the Riverwood Nursing Home. Born June 13, 1893, in Wisconsin, he was a tool and dye maker and a Catholic. Survivors include special friends Garland and Jewel Deane Lea of Friendship.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today, July 3, at the Sparkman Cemetery with Rev. Jerry George officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home.
