David Gray, 62
FORDYCE - David Arther Gray, 62, of Fordyce, died July 3, 2001, at Dallas County Hospital at Fordyce.
Born June 14, 1939, at Fordyce, he was a son of the late Virgil Frank Gray and Lillian Wells Gray.
He was a retired truck driver for Fikes Trucking. He was also a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Gene Young Gray; one son, Doug Gray of Benton; two stepsons, Charles McElroy of Sheridan and Bobby McElroy of Rowell; two daughters, Deborah Steffe of Rolla, Missouri, and Karen Null of Tavernier, Florida; one stepdaughter, Wanda Scates of Sheridan; three brothers, Robert Gray of Fordyce, Wilber Gray of Malvern and Don Gray of Camden; one sister, Sue Reppond of Marrero, Louisiana; two half sisters, Mabel Odom of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Virginia Collins of Jerseyville, Illinois; 26 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Johnny Johnson officiating. Funeral arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
