Myrtle "Turtle" Burris Anderson
Myrtle "Turtle" Burris Anderson, 94, of Malvern passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, in Malvern. She was born Nov. 6, 1910, in Boughton, Ark. She was preceded in death by a son, Claude McGlone Jr.; her husbands, Paris Burris of Dalark and Thomas Anderson of Sparkman. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, in Macedonia Cemetery, near Dalark, Ark. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Ted Huneycutt Sr., Ted Huneycutt Jr., Steve Huneycutt and Tommy Smith. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery. A special thank you to Malvern Nursing Home for their devotion and care during the last eight years. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Third Street Baptist Church of Arkadelphia, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern.
