Irene A. Key
ARKADELPHIA -- Irene Abbott Key, 85, of Arkadelphia, formerly of Sparkman, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at Beverly Health Care Center. She was born Dec. 1, 1919, in Dallas County, the daughter of the late Claude and Emma Holmes Abbott. She was a housewife, former president of the Sparkman Home Extension Club and a member of First Baptist Church of Sparkman.
Survivors include: Her husband of 64 years, Rufus Cecil Key; one daughter, Pat Key Chambliss and her husband, Charles, of Arkadelphia; one grandson, Charles Kevin Chambliss and his wife, Kimberly, of Waco, Texas.
Funeral services were today at First Baptist Church of Sparkman with Rev. Wade Totty officiating. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
