Leonard Barnes, age 71, of Fordyce, Ark. passed away Tuesday Nov. 20, 2007. He was born May 2, 1936, in Malvern to Joseph Schultz Barnes and Mattie Deliah Langley Barnes. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by four sons, James Barnes and wife, Elaine, of Hot Springs, Ark., Daniel Barnes and wife, Rita, of Malvern, Ark., George Barnes of Malvern, Ark., and Dean Barnes of Fordyce, Ark.; two sisters, Elsie Gray and husband, Franklin, of Rison, Ark., and Betty Raidon and husband, Johnny, of Gurdon, Ark.; five grandchildren, Bobby Anderson, Barbie Anderson, Sara Barnes, Andrew Barnes and Marissa Vasay, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Asa Barnes.
A private family service to be held later.
