Luvenia Knight
SPARKMAN - Luvenia Knight, 89, of Sparkman died Oct. 3, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Arkadelphia. She was born Aug. 9, 1918, at Sparkman to the late Ernest and Elvie Nelson Henderson. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and the widow of Chester Knight.
Survivors include: A son, Roy Lee Isreal of Sparkman; a daughter, Christana Johnson of Sparkman; a brother, Richard Henderson of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Ora Lee Craig of Arkadelphia and Sarah Hailey of Sparkman; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. L.A. Craig officiating. Burial will be in Sparkman Cemetery under the direction of Marks Funeral Home of Fordyce.
Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
