Vera A. Johnson
Vera Johnson passed away on August 18, 2014 at the age of 94. She was born in Fordyce, Arkansas in 1919. She was a resident of Redlands for approximately 62 years. Vera worked for Bourns Labs in Riverside, CA for over 25 years. After retirement, Vera volunteered at the Redlands Senior Center on Lugonia Avenue for many years and was also active in Temple Baptist Church (now Pathway Church).
Vera is preceded in death by her husband Cameron Johnson and her daughter Darlene Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Josephine (Jody) Lowe of Redlands, her daughter Lenore Wenzel of Florida, her son Paul Johnson of Redlands, as well as 8 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, 30 great-great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA on August 23, at 10 am.
