Elmer Dean Hunter of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 17, 1930 in Sheridan, the son of the late Jess and Laura Grace Adams Hunter. He was a member of Graves and Hunter Hunting Club and a Baptist.
Mr. Hunter died Friday, August 21, 2009 at his home at the age of 79.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Chris Bradley Hunter and two sisters, Wanda Wilson and Georgia Rhodes.

Sisters, Phyllis and husband Bobby Heath of Sheridan; Emma and husband Harold Dale of Beebe; Grandchildren, Cheryl Hoyle, Jessie Lybrand, Christy Eagon, Chance Hunter, Galina Guthrie, Roxanne Sturch, Eric Hunter, Samantha Hunter, David Winston, Dawn Heide, Lydia Price, Josh Winston, Ruth Engebretson,
Alicia O’Malley, Keith Hammock and Andrea Black. Great grandchildren, Destiny Hoyle, Laura Eagon, Cameron Eagon, Logan Guthrie, Lawson Guthrie, Livia Guthrie, Parker Guthrie, Joseph Winston, Samuel Winston, Emalee Winston, Dalton Heide, Zoey Heide, Preston Price, Kayla Price, and Ethan Engebretson.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 24, 2009 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jon Cox officiating. Burial followed at Bethel South Cemetery, Grant Xounty, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Bobby Heath, Gary Heath, John Heath, Mike Smith, Ricky Hunter and Chris Guthrie.
