This is the largest cemetery in Prairie County. There are over 2,500 listings for this cemetery and still this list is incomplete. This cemetery was begun as added acreage was needed for the Oak Grove Cemetery "just across the football field" from this location. These two cemeteries are on the first high ground just west of the White River at Des Arc. Lakeside is still an actively used cemetery by the Des Arc community.
