PEPPER'S LAKE CEMETERY

Prairie County, Section 35, Township 1 North, Range 4 West

No doubt, this cemetery has a rich history. I (Marilyn Hambrick Sickel) was given to understand the original organizational records are still in existance. I have waited for several months to receive copies and finally had to go to press without reviewing them.

This cemetery is also known as the Pleasant Home Cemetery. Many still refer to it as such, so I am told.

As you will see from the map in the front of this book, the road ends at the river, after you pass the church. The river was the "highway" when this cemetery originated. The land was donated by the E.C. Kerr family. This is still an active cemetery.
