Located one mile north and west of the Hickory Plains Post Office

This cemetery is 123 years old this year (1989). It is the community burying ground for black families in the Hickory Plains area. It is located just behind the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Hickory Plains. There are numerous gravesites lacking markers of any kind. The land was donated by the Harshaw family. This is still an active cemetery.
