Looking for my ggrandparents. They lived in Clay/Randolph counties until they died. My ggrandfathers name was Thomas Nathaniel Pyburn. His wifes name was Nancy Ellen Pyburn. They had 4 children. Thomas - Minnie - Noah - Sam. Nancy's last name was Spears when she married Thomas. This was in 1888. They lived between Reno and Dato. Somewhere in Clay or Randolph Counties. I do not believe any of the family is living there now. All of the children have passed on or moved away. If anyone has any information or recalls the name could you please email me. Am searching for JOHN FERNIMEN and his family. He purchased land in Randolph Co in Nov 1899 but I can't seem to locate him in a census anywhere. He was married 1st to Martha Jane Young in Oregon Co MO 5 mar 1882, had 1 son, Christopher Columbus Fernimen b. 22 Feb 1883 (Ark or MO?) and then was divorced. He married 2nd to Helen Birchett and had a large family of about 9 children. There is a record of a ROBERT FERNIMEN who died in July 1979 in Dalton or Pocahontas in Randolph Co. It's very possible that he was one of the children from the second marriage. Does anyone have knowledge of this Fernimen group? Submitter: Lisa Duitman
