Rev. Billy Soloman "Sol" Sutherlan

Springdale -- The Rev. Sol Sutherlan, 80, of Springdale, died
this morning in Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan.
22, 1884, in Laurel County, Ky., and was a retired Free Holiness
minister and farmer. He came to Springdale 15 years ago from
Fallsville. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Jennie Sutherlan of the
home; two sons, Carlie and Arthur of Springdale; two daughters,
Mrs. Dorothy Ward of Springdale and Mrs. Ann Arbaugh of Torrence,
Calif.; a sister Mrs. Mollie Lewis of Oklahoma City; 14
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mountain View
Street Free Holiness Church. Burial in Friendship Cemetery under
the direction of Callison-Sisco Funeral Chapel.
