Military service: Capt. Inks(?) ? Scout in Northwest AR

Remarks:  The subject of this sketch was at Oak Hill
driving his father?s Team.  One of the mules was killed and the other
crippled While being harnessed.  The driver escaped and made
one of the best soldiers that ever drew a revolver.
