The Eldridge Family Cemetery is located about three-fourths of a mile north of Gregory on Highway 33.

Rolfe Eldridge bought the land on which the Eldridge Family Cemetery is located in the year 1852 from Robert H. Adams who had acquired it by Government Patent (deed) in 1849.

The Eldridge Cemetery was cleaned up and put back into use under John Rolfe Eldridge, Jr's direction when his uncle George Paul Eldridge wanted to be buried there.

The old trees have been trimmed to preserve them and members of the family have planted pines and shrubs. The cemetery is now enclosed by a single chain fence.

One-fourth mile north of this cemetery is what was once the burial grounds of slaves of the Eldridge family, Eldridge Cemetery (Black)
