Gary Telford's Information on Woodruff County

The following information was provided by Gary Telford, [deceased]. Gary passed away on February 14, 2014, and his support for family history in Woodruff County will be greatly missed. I'm sorry but I don't know how to order copies of Gary's work. You might try the local libraries or the Bald Knob Banner and the Searcy Daily Citizen.

I received a note from Christopher Bisonette that says "It appears I have stumbled upon most, if not all, of the family histories in the Woodruff County Monitor. It was a newspaper that was published for decades but went belly up in 2017, I think. However, after snooping around and speaking with some other people, I have found that this publication and most all the other publications were digitized and are kept at the East Central Arkansas Regional Library and Arkansas State Archives. I was personally able to get most of what I wanted from the library. I am in touch with publisher Paula Barnett, of the Woodruff County MONITOR, and she stated the historical society has most of his original research."
