FORDYCE -- Marjorie E. Dobbs, 69, of Fordyce, died Tuesday at Dallas County Nursing Home at Fordyce.
She was born Oct. 29, 1934, at Fordyce, a daughter of the late Willard Walton and Muriel Watson Walton.
She was a retired bookkeeper and clerk.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church at Fordyce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dobbs.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Carroll of Fordyce; one sister, Mary Spears of Woodlawn; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce with the Rev. B.L. Blann officiating. Burial will be in Chambersville Cemetery.
