Charles Broughton Sr.

FORDYCE — Charles Stanley Broughton Sr., 70, of Fordyce, died Friday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff.
He was born Jan. 10, 1935, at Fordyce, a son of the late Porter Broughton and Annie Mae Mosley Fields.
He served in the Army.
He was employed by Georgia Pacific.
He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie M. Matlock Broughton; two sons, Charles Broughton Jr. and Cheapell Broughton, both of Fordyce; three daughters, Marie House and Barbara Marshall, both of Malvern, and Linda Ann Walker of Bearden; one brother, Jimmy Fields of Fordyce; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Greenville Baptist Church at Fordyce with the Rev. Emmit Archie officiating. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery by Brown-Williams Funeral Home at Fordyce.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Gracie Broughton, 332 E. Sixth St., Fordyce.
