FORDYCE -- Vernell Wilson, 96, of Fordyce, died Wednesday at Dallas County Hospital.
She was born Aug. 31, 1908, at Eagle Mills, a daughter of the late John Jacobs and Addie Hudson Jacobs.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Greenville Baptist Church at Fordyce.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Wilson.
There are no immediate survivors.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Greenville Baptist Church with the Rev. I.L. McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery at Fordyce by Brown-Williams Funeral Home at Fordyce.
The family will be at the home of Claybon Jacobs, Fordyce.
