Annie Mae Reynolds Holt, 95, of Fordyce died Wednesday July 25, 2007 at the Dallas County Medical Center. Born January 19, 1912, she was a daughter of the late George and Emily Demaris Rogers Reynolds and the wife of the late Richard John Holt. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fordyce where she was active in the Gleaners Sunday School Class, the Daisy Ruth Garrett Circle, and the United Methodist Women. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, wonderful homemaker, and an excellent cook.
Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by a son, John Thomas Holt, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors are a son, Jimmy Holt and wife Sandi of Fordyce; three daughters, Barbara Henderson of Sherwood, Kay Garlington and husband Buster of Fordyce, Linda Holmes and husband Carrol of Fordyce; eleven grandchildren, Richard C. Holt and wife Charlotte of Fort Worth, Texas, Joellyn Rocha and husband Robert of Tampa, Fl, Kim Hagerman and husband Scott of North Little Rock, Holly Henderson of Scottsdale, AZ, Lisa Knoedl and husband Mike of Fordyce, Chris Garlington and wife Donna of Huntsville, AR, Sonia Hazelwood and husband Mike of Conway, Tony Holmes of Conway, Janet Greer and husband Jeff of Monroe, LA, Julie Barnes and husband Jason of Monticello, Sarah Hobbs and Husband Jason of Monticello; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorials can be made to the Fordyce First United Methodist Church. Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hammett Evans officiating.
