CARTHAGE — Mattie Bell House, 84, of Carthage died Thursday.
Born in Sparkman to the late Charlie Banks and Addie Banks.
Survivors: husband, Cornelle House Sr.; sons, Charles House, Leawood, Kan., Eddie House, Denver, Darwin House, Princeton, Ark., Jerry House, Little Rock, George House, Aurora, Colo.; daughters, Annie Maddox, Jacksonville, Ark., Mattie Perry, Kansas City, Mo., Cattie Smith, Jacksonville, Ark., Vivian Williams, Pine Bluff, Ark., Murline Jones, Morro Bay, Calif.; brother, Bennie Banks, Muskegon, Mich.; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Services: Friday 11 a.m. Mount Zion AME Church, Princeton, by Rev. J.C. Owens. Burial: Henderson Cemetery.
Visitation: 5-6:30 p.m. today at Brown-Williams Funeral Home, Fordyce.
The family will be at 57 Dallas 315, Carthage, the home of Mr. Cornelle House.
