Redfield

Redfield was named after the President of the Little Rock, Mississippi River and Texas Railway; Jared Redfield. The settlement started out as a station on the rail line, and grew to become a town.  Redfield in located in Barraque Township; about 25 miles southeast of Little Rock.  Redfield was found by James Brodie and incorporated on 18 October 1898.
