Seeking information about my great-great grandfather Caesar(Ceasar) ABRAHAM (ABRAMS, ABRAM), property owner in Miller County. I have tax documents from 1874 through 1904. Caesar worked for James D. BLANTON from January 1868 through January 1869. Caesar's wife Mary (my great-great grandmother) had a daughter, Louvenia (my great grandmother) and at least one son with the initials "L.D." Mary married Elijah KENNER in 1904, and they also had property in Miller County.

Will be visiting Texarkana during Christmas holiday and hope to find my grandmother's home. In 1936 her address was Route 1 Box 682. Can anyone help me locate that address with current street number? STINSON, Mack Looking for any information on Mack STINSON and family. He was my ggrandfather's brother and could lead to the names of their parents. My ggrandfather was David Homer STINSON, b. Nov. 5, 1863 in Grand Junction, Hardeman Co., TN. Mack STINSON owned and operated a wholesale grocery business in Texarkana, AR for 35 years. Any information appreciated. Thanks.

I have come across a land record for Miller Co. dated 2/1/1861 for 120 acres deeded to Edmund PARSONS. This is about the same time that my gr-gr-gr-grandfather(also Edmund Parsons)moved to Arkansas from Georgia. Can anyone confirm that this record is indeed tha same man? His wife's name was Elizabeth (MATHIS) and they had a son named Louis Manuel Parsons. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

John Robert FENLEY b. 23 Oct 1831 in Alabama, married 8 May 1851 to Arenthia (many spellings) R. DANSBY. She was born b. 15 Dec 1833, also in Alabama. John and Arenthia had 9 children: Martha Emaline, Robert Durham, Lizzy E. Camilia, Eugenia Cornelia (my gg grandmother), Victoria Georgia, Joshua Dansby, James Morris, Renthia, and Fay. I have birth dates for all of these children except Fay. John Robert FENLEY and his father had the same name. The elder John was born abt 1815 in Georgia. No further info. known about him. John Robert FENLEY, the younger, died in 1891 in Miller Co., Arkansas. We have no information about Arenthia's death. We suspect she may have died in Texas, as some of the family moved on to there. Anyone having any clues to this family, please contact me.

My grandmother, Olive Anderson, dau. of Byrd and Corinna ANDERSON was born in Roseville, AR., later they moved to )(Rose Hill) Texarkana,TX. I think Roseville would be in Miller County as her sister claimed to be a life long resident of Texarkana. Can anyone help me? Jacque - loujac@seark.net
