Tom J. Lowe, age 67, of Fordyce, died Frid ay, May 2, 1997 in the St. Vincent Infirmary at Little Rock. Born September 5 , 1929, at Clarks, Louisiana, he was a son of the late Thomas Lowe, Sr. and Alice Cochran. He was a saw filer. Survivors include his wife, Eddie Mae Lowe of Fordyce; to step sons, Craig Benton of Little Rock and Jim Benton of Philadelphia, Mississippi; two daughters, Sandra Hayes of Shreveport, La.; and Susan Huckaby of Jonesboro, La.; one step daughter, Judy Lamb of Shreveport, Louisiana ; one brother, W.R. Lowe of Monroe, la.; four grandchildren, three great-grandc hildren, seven step grandchildren and one step great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 3, in the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Lowe officiating. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Benton Funer al Home, Inc.
