Meet Thomas S. Burnes

Thomas Burnes b. 1807 in Henderson co., TN d. 1892 in Marion Co., AR. He was the son of Charles Burnes b. 1758 in VA d. ca. 1820 in TN and Barbara Hardy. Thomas married Elizabeth Holtzclaw Burnes, b. 1813 in GA d. 1867 in Marion Co., AR, in 1829 in TN. She is the daughter of James Burnes and Charlotte Barbara Holtzclaw. Charlotte is the great granddaughter of Hans Jacob Holtzclaw, the Immigrant, who came to America from Germany in 1714.
