William Horton

This is a picture of my great grandfather William (Bill) Horton he was born in 1846 Virg. He is listed in the 1880 census for Marion Co. He owned land outside of Dodd City the area was known as Markle Hollow. The picture of him was taken at my grandma's house (Tyne Sullivan his daughter) he was standing next to the spring house where they kept their butter and etc. cold. This place is located way up on Markle Hollow, the house is gone now but the spring house was still standing in 1996
