Docket: "A written list of judicial proceedings set down for trial in a court." The Witness Docket is a list of witnesses that appeared or were summoned to appear during a trial, the distance the person traveled and the amount they were owed for their appearance & travel.

During the many times I've rummaged around in the records at the Marion Co courthouse I've found several court dockets, but I've never found any actual trial records. (Linda)

In criminal cases the plantiff is a governmental agency - local, county or state. In the following the Plantiff is the State of Arkansas and the defendent is the individual charged with the crime (cause of case).

In this book the court cases are listed on the left page and the witnesses on the right page.
