The Barber Cemetery, Sims, Arkansas

Note the homemade cement headstones from 1918 and 1919 are still very easy to read after ninety years and the spelling mistakes.

Types of headstones.
There are 141 photos of headstones here as of Nov. 2010 - the majority are a grey or pink granite. The grey granite with a square of non polished granite with black font is the easiest to read. The older stones are barely readable and many are covered in moss but the majority of the headstones are legible. There are photographs here of:
13 Military -  mostly brass plaques but nine too many have been placed flat on the ground
 3 Funeral Home Markers
3 Handwritten home made markers
8 Fieldstones
2 Spelling mistakes -  borned  and dide
