Military Headstones in the Barber Cemetery

Civil War 1 No. 265 Shipman Reed Co. A 4 Ark. Cav. shield [this page]
Korea 3
WW2 7
Vietnam 2

These nine brass military issued headstones have been placed flat on ground and over time will become over grown and disappear underneath the weeds the soil. Looks like there is ant activity in the cemetery causing rusty colored soil to be spread on the headstones:

John Barber Frank Moody
Thomas L. Barber George Stacey
Ellis Carter John F. Summitt [DOB & DOD differ from FH marker]
Amos Cross Michael Summitt
Elbert McKinney

United States has a tradition of bringing of the bodies of soldiers who died overseas back. Looks like we have two at the Barber Cemetery. Both images are on page 1a.
