EEDS, KELLY posted by Janet Eeds on Wednesday, September 3, 1997

I was looking for any EEDS surnames under Perry County. I received an E-Mail by a person who saw an inquiry about EEDS in Arkansas. She told me that her mother spoke of a GrandPa EEDS, that lived with relatives Elmer KELLY and his wife or daughter Kate. This was in the 1920's. Do you have access to any Perry County Census information? She mentioned the town of Pleasant Valley. Do you know where I might find some Perry County Information? Thank You, Janet Eeds

JONES, SMITH posted by Janet Nasdor Jones on Wednesday, December 17, 1997

Hi. I'm trying to research my father's family, who I believe lived in Perry County at least as far back as the 1920s. The family name is JONES, and they lived in Houston AR. My grandfather's name was Fox, and some of his children were Bird, Dock, Everett. His wife was Florence SMITH. That is all the info I have, and I was wondering if you could direct me to any resources for Perry Co which might help. I'm in Massachusetts, so on-line sources would be best, if possible. Do you know if any of the Perry County census records are on-line? Thanks for any info you can provide. And if Houston isn't in Perry County, could you please direct me to the right county? It's hard to read the lines on my atlas! Janet Nasdor Jones

MARTIN, POPE posted by Alice Albright on Sunday, December 28, 1997

My great grandparents were George Washington MARTIN and Rachel. In 1900 they lived in Searcy County, AR. My grandfather, Thomas Nathaniel was listed as nine years old on that census. My grandfather Tom married my grandmother, Rebecca Jane POPE at Lollie, AR in 1911. Their marriage license was from Faulkner County. Older relatives in our family believe my great grandparents lived around Perryville before they died. I do not know when or where they died. Please help. Alice Albright, HC 63 Box 259, Ozark, AR 72949
