County Perry, Union Twp, and three children Mary WILLIS (my G-grandmother) age 12, Milliy age 7, and William age 4. What happened to W. T. WILLIS? Is he deceased, and if so where is he buried? Did Manda remarry, and what is his name? Mary Jane Willis SMITH (my grandmother) had her first child in Cerrogordo, AR. 1893. I have info to share, and would love to have these answers or any part of them answered. Any help would be appreciated, will share information, etc. Regards, Darline.

SIMPSON, WALLACE posted by Saundra Williams on Wednesday, December 9, 1998

According to Goodspeed's Journal Orren WALLACE, his wife Jane, and their children moved from Johnson Co to Morrilton in 1873 in order to be near his Perry Co farm. They moved to Johnson Co from Person Co NC in 1848. Orren died cir 1883 and is buried either in Perry Co or Conway Co. I have been unable to locate his or his wife's burial place. Their son Vincent J WALLACE is buried at the Morrilton Cemetery. Orren's daughter Frances (Fannie) A. married Samuel Houston SIMPSON in 1881 in Morrilton. She died between 1886 and 1891 when he married again. I have been unable to locate her burial place or time of death either. After their marriage Samuel and Frances lived in Johnson Co. I have located his grave (next to the second wife), but not hers. Any information on Orren and Jane WALLACE and the rest of their family would be greatly appreciated

BUFORD, BUTLER, GIBBONS, KENNEY, MCCABE, NABORS, RANKIN, ROBERSON, ROBERTSON, ROBINSON, SPEARS posted by James R. Rasco on Monday, January 4, 1999

William or Will ROBINSON (ROBERTSON, ROBERSON) was born in Mississippi about 1869. He married Martha "Mattie" Elizabeth SPEARS in Perry County October 11, 1891. Martha SPEARS was born December 26, 1875 in Dallas, Texas. She died June 3, 1937 at Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Martha and Will ROBINSON had the following children: Ruth ROBINSON born about Sept. 1891, married Al W. Butler June 16, 1909 in Perry County; Lela Mae ROBINSON born about March 1896, married John KENNEY June 14, 1910 in Perry County, died in March 1911; Arthur ROBINSON; and two other unknown. It is reported that Will ROBINSON ran away with one of Martha's younger sisters and was never heard from again. Martha remarried a man named John William BUFORD and they had a son named John BUFORD. When the older BUFORD died near Bigelow, Martha married a third time to Jasper "Jap" Marion MCCABE and they had several children. Martha was a daughter of Ambrose S. "Bud" SPEARS and Martha NABORS. Lela Mae ROBINSON and John KENNEY were my grandparents on my mothers side. John KENNEY was a son of Joseph KENNEY and Mary Jane GIBBONS. All of these people lived in the Bigelow, Kenney, New Dixie, and Houston areas of Perry County in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I am trying to learn more about William ROBINSON. Who were his parents? Where in Mississippi was he born? Where did he go after leaving Martha and his children? When and where did he die? The SPEARS was an old family in Perry County. Ambrose "Bud" SPEARS was a son of Robert SPEARS who came to Perry County from Kentucky in the mid 1800's. Ed RANKIN was an uncle or perhaps brother-in-law to Martha (Spears) ROBINSON. If anyone has information or is researching any of these people, please contact me.

In 1839 James BLAND, Leonard EVANS, Benjamin F. HOWARD and Joseph WILLIAMS and in 1838 David VANN, entered land in the Perry County, Arkansas area. In the case of each man - when was he born? Where was he born? Who did he marry? Where was he before coming to Arkansas? Did he stay in Arkansas or move on? In other words - what can you tell me about these men? I am a descendant of Joseph WILLIAMS
